In this article we will know about the difference between power transformer and distribution transformer. From this article we will discuss about the distribution transformer and power transformer working and their application. Now we are going to discuss about the difference between power transformer and distribution transformer.

Difference between Power Transformer and Distribution Transformer.

These are some basic factor which is decide difference between power transformer and distribution transformer.

Power transformer is that transformer which is used  for high voltage power transmision from the generating station to nearest distribution center. Distribution transformer is that transformer which is to transmit the supply of consumer . It will we 11kv or 440V as per required.
